Burning Bright, his most recent short story collection, won the Frank O'Connor Award - the world's richest prize for the short story form. Also at the Embassy Theatre, Man Booker prize-winner Alan Hollinghurst will discuss The Stranger's Child, his multi-layered, multi-generational epic following the lives of two British families from the Great War to the close of the 20th century.
